Exciting News!
As we witness the widespread integration of AI into every facet of our lives, the need for responsible oversight and unbiased solutions has never been more pressing.

I am thrilled to announce the launch of the International Algorithmic Auditors Association (IAAA), the first non-profit professional organization for the emerging AI Auditing industry. The IAAA’s mission is to promote collaboration, share knowledge, and advance algorithmic auditing to protect people’s rights, dignity, and interests in the age of pervasive AI.

I am honored to be a Founding Member of the IAAA alongside Jenny BrennanShea Brown (Babl AI), Dr. Rumman Chowdhury (Humane Intelligence), Gemma Galdon Clavell, PhD (Eticas), Divij Joshi (UCL), Jacob Metcalf (Data & Society and Ethical Revolve), Cathy O’Neil (ORCAA) and Mona Sloane, Ph.D., (NYU).
Together, we are committed to shaping a future where algorithms serve us all responsibly and transparently.

The idea took root a year ago at the first International Algorithmic Auditing Conference, initiated by Dr. Gemma Galdon Clavell, in Barcelona and Brussels, where we gathered to set standards for this discipline.

The IAAA is a community of practice aiming to advance and organize the algorithmic auditing profession, promote open source AI auditing tools and standards, certify best practices, and contribute to the emergence of responsible AI. Our mission is to ensure that algorithmic auditing is primarily committed to the public interest and does not become an industry-captured discipline.

We will bring auditors from leading organizations together in a collaborative effort to develop comprehensive and open frameworks for auditing #algorithms.

IAAA isn’t just an organization; it’s a movement for #responsible tech.

Join us in reshaping AI verification methods and tools for effective AI governance. #IAAA#AlgorithmicAuditing#ResponsibleTech
